Illini…Finally!
Murphy’s Law has been shown true time after time this basketball season for the Illini. That is, except for last night. The Illini finally got some breaks and thus their first win against a ranked opponent of this season by beating Indiana 51-43 at the Assembly Hall in Champaign. It wasn’t pretty, but it was enjoyable.

Good that it happened on national TV (ESPN2) for the selection committee…As far as I can remember they have lost almost every other nationally televised game this season, except for Missouri.

You are correct according to the the schedule. Looks like they’ll get chances against Michigan State, Northwestern, Indiana, Penn State, and Iowa. All are away games except Michigan State. I’d be very happy with a 4-1 record in those games. We’ll see.
